Your Input Needed—Birth Control Access in Pharmacies!
The NH Pharmacists Association (NHPA) encourages all NH pharmacists to participate in the following survey sponsored by the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Women’s Health Practice and Research Network Study of US Pharmacists’ Opinions on Prescribing and Increasing Access to Contraception.
In New Hampshire, HB 1822 -- Making hormonal contraceptives available directly from pharmacists by means of a standing order, has been referred to the House Commerce Committee for a public hearing. They will focus on the insurance section of the bill.
The information from the survey study aims to assess:
• Support for expanding access to various hormonal contraceptives via pharmacist prescribing, behind the counter and over the counter models.
• Personal interest in prescribing.
• Safety, cost , and professional practice issues
• Education and training
• Service delivery

Dear Community Pharmacists:
We are inviting you to participate in an online survey study of pharmacists in the United States regarding access to contraception in pharmacies. This study is being conducted by members of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Women’s health Practice and Research Network. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
This survey is confidential. No personal identifiers will be collected and all results will be presented in aggregate form only. Additional details are available in the online survey at the link below.
